• City & Guilds recommend the following:
1. If you have attended and passed the 17th Edition wiring regulations course in the last 12 months you CAN attend the 18th Edition 1 day update course
2. If you have been applying and practicing within the electrical industry since passing the 17th Edition 3rd Amendment and are fully conversant with the 17th Edition wiring regulations you CAN attend the 18th Edition 1 day update course
3. If you have attended the 17th Edition PRIOR to 2015, you will need to attend the FULL 3 day 18th Edition Course

Who should attend?
This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals.
For example, surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
Delegates must hold a valid and in-date Requirements for Electrical Installations – City & Guilds (2382-15) 17th Edition certificate.
Course aims
To provide the knowledge and practical skills to those who are wanting to work in, or currently working in environments requiring 18th Edition qualifications will need to complete the City & Guilds 2382.
To successfully develop an understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Qualification
Delegates successfully completing the online examination will be issued with a City and Guilds (2382) 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certificate.
