From 25/5/18 companies will no longer be able to contact you without your consent, due to a change in the general data protection regulations. Because of this, you will no longer receive industry news, technical updates, information about offers or new training modules from the F-Gas register. If you still want to receive updates from us, simply fill out the contact form with the words ‘please send me f-gas email updates’ in the subject box.

This privacy policy sets out how FGASREGISTER processes and protects and information about you given to FGASREGISTER when using this website and the FGASREGISTER application system.

FGASREGISTER is part of Quidos Ltd and we are committed to ensure that your privacy is protected. We are registered with the Information Commission’s Office as a data controller under reference: Z9808068.

Data Access Request

You have the right to have control over what data the F-Gas Register holds on you, to be able to update any information that may be incorrect, or to request that certain data be removed. You can make data access requests by emailing or telephoning F-Gas Register however for ease we request that you complete the following document . We will reply to you within 30 days to confirm that the request has been carried out. Data requests are at no cost to the individual.

How does an Individual submit a data subject request?

What information is being collected?

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and job title
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences, etc.
  • Other information relevant customer surveys and/or offers

Who is collecting it?

Your information will be collected and collated by the FGASREGISTER, with all certification-related information being securely collected by the certification team.

How is it collected?

Your personal information will be collected upon application for certification, and in some cases, when sending a query through the online forms.

Why is it being collected?

Personal information is collected to maintain the standard of our services and products, as well as to ensure we are able to assist you with queries or issues you may be experiencing. As a government-approved F-Gas Company Certification scheme, we have a legal basis to process personal information in accordance with the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations.

How will it be used?

Personal information will be used to process your application, contact to assist you, and manage your eventual membership with FGASREGISTER Company Certification Scheme.

Who will it be shared with?

Under no circumstances will we give your personal information to third-parties, outside of the requirements of operation of a company certification scheme.
